Alphabet Soup + Whistler Pride

Film Screening, “Krow’s TRANSformation” The Whistler Public Library partners with Whistler Pride and OUTtv for an LGBTQ+ film screening for teens and adults. Krow’s TRANSformation documents the three year journey of Canadian-born model Krow as he transitions from successful ‘female’ model to his true authentic self. The documentary, produced in association with OUTtv, follows Krow from his very first hormone treatment through to making his debut at Paris Fashion Week, walking as a male model for Louis Vuitton. The documentary – directed and produced by Gina Hole Lazarowich – has already garnered a great deal of attention, recently opening the 27th Annual Raindance Film Festival on the 18th of September, 2019. In addition to the attention garnered in the world of film, the documentary has also caught the attention of the Canadian government and was recently discussed in the B.C legislative assembly. Alphabet Soup is a monthly drop-in program for LGBTQ+ individuals along with their friends, family, and allies, presented in partnership with the Whistler Youth Centre and Whistler Community Services Society.
